As the Social Media Coordinator, your role will include the following core responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy Development and Execution:
You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our company’s goals. This will include identifying key audience segments, defining content strategies, and scheduling posts to ensure maximum engagement. You will be responsible for overseeing content creation, ensuring that it is aligned with our brand voice and messaging. - Content Creation:
A large part of your role will be creating original and engaging content across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. You will write copy, design basic graphics, shoot videos, and coordinate with other team members to ensure the content is fresh, creative, and on-brand. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all content is posted on time and in alignment with social media trends. - Community Management:
Building a strong online community is at the heart of social media success. You will actively engage with our followers, respond to comments and messages, and ensure a positive interaction with our audience. You’ll also be responsible for managing online customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and helping to build stronger relationships with our online community. - Social Media Analytics and Reporting:
You will regularly monitor and analyze the performance of our social media campaigns. Using platforms like Google Analytics and social media insights, you will track metrics such as engagement rates, reach, conversions, and audience growth. Based on these analytics, you will report back to the team and suggest improvements to future content or campaigns. Understanding what works and adapting quickly is key to success in this role. - Campaign Management:
You will help manage and execute social media campaigns from start to finish. This includes brainstorming campaign ideas, creating a timeline, coordinating with the design and content teams, and analyzing the results of the campaign to understand what has worked and what could be improved for the future. - Stay Current with Trends:
The digital marketing world is constantly changing, and as a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll need to stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and new platform features. This will help ensure that our social media strategy remains relevant and effective in engaging our target audience. - Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have hands-on experience with content creation, social media tools, and campaign management. A background in communications, marketing, or a related field is desirable, but not essential if you can demonstrate a strong understanding of social media trends and strategies.

- Proven Expertise in Social Media Platforms: You should have experience managing accounts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. You should understand the unique nature of each platform and how to tailor content for different audiences.
- Creative Skills: A flair for writing, creating visual content (images, graphics, videos), and editing are highly valued. Knowledge of design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar software would be beneficial.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics) to monitor campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as you’ll need to interact with customers, collaborate with colleagues, and create content that resonates with the audience.
- Self-Motivated and Organized: As a remote worker, you should be highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage your time and workload independently. Being organized and having strong attention to detail will help you succeed in this role.
